After spending 168 days with black ink (Sailor’s excellent Kiwa Guro) my blue Pelikan M605 returns to blue duty with Platinum Pigment Blue.  It’s the first time I’ve had this ink in this pen, which has spent most of its service writing with my blue-black mixes.  I am really a fan of waterproof Platinum Pigment Blue and I’m hoping that the necessity of making my own mixes is a thing of the past.  Or course, Pigment Blue will mix without fault with Platinum’s Carbon Black (also waterproof) and sometimes the call of a deep, slatey blue-black is not easily resisted.
