…the M605 again with the Binder .5mm cursive italic installed. For some reason, this .5mm is wider than my others from Mr. Binder. For a moment I was even thinking of returning it. But I think I’ll keep it. I’m trying to adjust my writing to it and it might take a few days to find how it likes to be held. I just noticed that everything is blue. I’m using a deep blue Kunst & Papier journal (sketchbook I think they call it), the M605 is dark blue, and the ink is my own blue-black mix of Noodler’s bulletproofs I call “Midnight Rain.”
I like the color of your ink. Would you care to share your ink mix recipe? If you are a member of the Fountain Pen Network then there is a thread of fellow members’ mix recipes. I am sure they would like to see your recipe too.
I used to record the recipes very carefully until I realized that Noodler’s inks (the component inks) vary so much from bottle to bottle that it was a useless activity. I now "improvise" batches according to eye. The largest component in this batch is Legal Lapis. I know there is also some Violet Vote, Burgundy… and some other bulletproofs. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Someone told me that Legal Blue (Noodler’s from Art Brown) might be worth trying…
