I’m a new convert to InstaGram, the fun iPhone app that lets you share your photos. (But actually, the fun part is in finding all sorts of really cool pics of all sorts of things from all over the world.) Anyway, here are some pics of the retirement home right across the street. The first one that looks like a mirage oasis is actually a reflection from the swimming pool downstairs. The one that looks like some weird haunted prison was taken by my remote IP cam then processed through a black and white filter. Finally, the third pic is the original iPhone photo right side up showing more of the visual context before cropping.
There is a stark difference in the feeling of these photos even though they are of the exact same thing. I guess point of view (or maybe “attitude”?) makes all the difference sometimes.
